What is Open Data?

Open Data is a movement that enables people to share, use and manage data. This data can come from any public or private provider, such as governments, businesses, scientists, citizens, and others. Open Data enables global collaboration and access to information that helps us solve problems. This data can be published as raw data, tables, maps, images, or videos, or it can be in specific formats.
