What is lead generation?

Lead generation is a strategy for attracting potential customers or interested parties. It includes various measures aimed at making potential customers or prospects aware of a brand and its products and storing them as contacts in a database. Lead generation typically includes campaigns such as email marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing and others. Lead generation is an important strategy for attracting new customers and retaining existing ones.
