12/28/2022 | by Patrick Fischer, M.Sc., Founder & Data Scientist: FDS
To become an editor, you must have a basic knowledge and understanding of journalism. You should have a good feel for language and a great passion for writing. A college degree in journalism or a similar field is helpful, but not essential. To become an editor, you should also be willing to do a lot of research and keep up with the latest developments. You should also have a good understanding of the different forms of media and the different types of readers. It is also important that you have good communication skills and have good organizational skills to complete your tasks efficiently and effectively.
