What is the break-even point?

12/06/2022 | by Patrick Fischer, M.Sc., Founder & Data Scientist: FDS
The break-even point is the point at which the contribution margins of the units a company produces and sells exactly offset the company's fixed costs. It is the point at which the company makes no profit, but also no loss. It is also referred to as the zero point.
